Experience all of the layers of Vatican Falls

I recently had the opportunity to see the play Vatican Falls at The Tank in NYC. I had the honor of seeing this play over the years as it was in development and I have to say, I was blown away by this current production. The layers of the story take you on an emotional journey that I believe everyone and anyone can find elements they relate to.

The addition of music also creates an opportunity for connection and adds to the universal connectivity.

The entire cast gives phenomenal, emotional performances that are sure to impact any audience.

I had the privilege of interviewing Frank J. Avella and Ace Young from the show, ad you can listen to that here:

Be sure to grab tickets before it’s too late! Although, I do hope we get to see MUCH more of this piece!

From VATICAN FALLS: “Even in the “metoo” era, time is still not up for those who harm children…”

Vatican Falls, the controversial play written by Frank J. Avella that closely examines the Catholic sex abuse scandal while telling real survivor stories and exploring the fictional journey of one particular survivor will make its world premiere this Fall in a limited engagement run Off-Broadway. The production begins previews on Thursday, October 27th and will run through Sunday, November 20th at The Tank NYC,  312 West 36th Street in Manhattan.

Vatican Falls has had seven world premieres canceled in four different countries in the last decade.

Based on factual accounts, spanning decades and set against the backdrop of the continuously-swelling Catholic sex abuse scandal, VATICAN FALLS is a sweeping multi-genre work that follows survivor journeys that ultimately turn to revenge. This fast-paced, non-linear suspense-thriller jets around the globe as our radicalized protagonist falls in love with a Vatican operative and, along with his Fellowship, plots vengeance on the institutional power players complicit in the rape and torture of countless children and young adults.

The play features three prominent LGBTQ+ characters including the fellowship leader, Vi, a proud queer whose desire for retribution fuels the group.

The production features a cast of 10 including: Ace Young (“American Idol, Season 5, Top 10” “Grease” and “Hair” on Broadway), Carlotta Brentan (“Lured”), Alice Barrett-Mitchell (Starz’s “Heels”) and Tucker Aust.

Performances will run Thurs-Sun, Oct 27-Nov 20th at 7:00pm, except on 11/5, 11/12 & 11/19 when performances will be at 3:00pm. Tickets: https://ci.ovationtix.com/35658/production/1136481?performanceId=11146951
