SPIN Midtown is THE place to be social….

I recently had the honor of attending the SPIN Midtown Grand Opening event, which left me highly impressed by the cool atmosphere, delectable bites, tasty refreshments, and the robot ping pong player!

The midtown location is located at the former site of Caroline’s New York, which is so easy to get to from just about anywhere in the city. SPIN is the original ping pong social club (yes, you read that correctly, PING PONG) and is just as much fun as it sounds. I love that the mission is to connect through a game that transcends age, gender, or any boundaries. Each location is equipped with ping pong courts, full service bar, a restaurant, some private spaces where I can see some fun meetings happening, and a few unexpected event environments that welcome diversity and embrace the unconventional.

Currently, there are SPIN locations in NYC Flatiron, Chicago, Toronto, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Seattle, Washington DC, Boston, and this new midtown location at 1626 Broadway between 49th and 50th streets. I can say, I have never experienced anything like it before and cannot wait to go back. I could see it being a fun workspace during the day too. If you like ping pong, or want to try it, I would suggest SPIN for sure. Or, if you just want to have some fun and try something new, this is a place for you!

You may even want to play a game against Spinny the ping pong playing robot who can actually teach you how to play or play better. But, I can assure you, you WILL want to sample the food and beverages.

I even got to meet Thomas Hu from American Youth Table Tennis, who brought us Spinny the ping pong playing robot! As you can tell, I’m looking forward to encountering the robot again soon.

Let’s meet up for some business, food, drinks, and a good dose of fun at SPIN!

I’d like to thank Demonstrate PR for the invite, the entire crew is so welcoming, top notch, and they always have their fingers on the pulse of what’s currently hot as well as what’s about to be hot.
